DC Democrats don't think you and the other POC will ever actually vote Republican, and they strategize around this. They know all they have to say is "They're racists" and they get enough POC riled up and emotional to get rid and they got their vote. Then read your comment above, and the process repeats.

Except that the national Republican Party IS racist. There’s no need to vote Republican to get rid of Nadeau and Allen. Just support a primary challenger who is not insane. Kent Boese ran against Nadeau last time and would have been a huge improvement. But people have to stop mindlessly checking the box next to “Incumbent”.

Plus, the Republican Party is not a factor in the least in DC electoral politics, so there's no Republican to choose from most of the time apart from token candidates who barely campaign and are just there for appearances' sake. More people have voted against Nadeau than for her in every single Dem primary, mostly because of vote splitting. She would be toast if people would rally behind one single competent candidate. I mean, have you ever seen her in a debate? She comes off as a blithering idiot when anyone challenges her. Even that Popville cretin got the best of her when she lashed out at his shoddy journalism a few years back.

Nevertheless, she’ll run again citing unfinished agenda.

Nadeau is the white Anita Bonds.

The writing is on the wall with Nadeau.

Never got over 50% in general, was subject of recall, and forced to go to Chevy Chase to fundraise to beat back recall.

The best thing she could do is to gracefully fade away without making an endorsement.
