Isnt there only 2 or 3 decent teams in ECNL conference?
It’s not changing at all. It’s definitely not rapidly changing.

Good luck with your decision, trust us old timers, it's not make or break at U13.
There are a lot of different ways to get to the same end and sometimes all your research and right decisions get impacted by outside forces.
Don't forget checking how much your daughter wants to pour into the travel and commitment. It can change every year.
Ultimate goal to play high school, which is great and fun and memory making, you are fine either way as long as she is getting playing time and good coaching.
Unfortunately theres no magic eight ball or right answer for everyone. Some day these GA/ECNL partisans will figure that out, in the meantime don't get sucked in, it's a waste of energy and time you can be spending with your family.

Your world view is too small. DMV is barely anything in the national landscape. ECNL is fine, DMV has it's issues.
I have no dog in this fight but clearly do not know much if you think the “DMV is barely anything in the national landscape.”

They aren't. They have 1 or 2 clubs that crack the top 20 nationally. It's all CA/TX/NY/NJ

💯
So much changes over the years, so really you need to make the best decision for this year only.
Over the years, I watched players who were subs blossom when the players in front of them moved on. All that taught me was that playing time in actual games is so, so important.
Anonymous wrote:disagree seen many a ECNL vs GA. They are on par. ECNL however has better college pathway.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:GA and ECNL are on par with each other. RL is a B team. ECNL currently has better college pathway. However with the new rules, once a team goes MLSN, they cant keep ECNL on boys side. Once that happens they lose girls ECNL. So GA is currently where things are heading. Current clubs that have both, have been told they must give up one league. And most are heading MLSN and GA. Vice keeping ECNL.. Boys draw more money to clubs.
GA is not on par with ECNL yet. Maybe it will be in less than two years. But it is not now.
That said, I would not put GA as tier 2. It’s more like tier 1.5
