Most public officials deal with this and it happens so often, it’s not newsworthy. The right just needs to be constantly aggrieved and wants attention. Hell, my DH had a hit out on him and he’s nobody compared to these people.

None of it is ok. It’s all insane. And this administration rewarded criminals who participated in the attack on the Capitol emboldening them all. Nominating a criminal for president and then electing him makes it impossible for anyone to take republican complaints about this seriously.

All of these perpetrators need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Lawful protesting is fine. Threatening judges and elected officials is not. On a personal level, IDGAF about MTG, but I wholeheartedly support tracking down and prosecuting whoever is swatting her.

I’ve never placed an order for pizza that I needed to keep secret, but I guess you could buy a gift card with cash so it’s untraceable and then place an order with the judge’s address and a fake phone number and use the gift card to pay for it.

Sending the pizzas is not a prank: it telegraphs that the sender knows where the judge lives. The judges involved tend not to be random judges, but judges who are involved in cases important to the current administration. The sending of pizza is a veiled threat intended to intimidate, and it is done based on political or ideological objectives. Therefore it meets the definition of terrorism.

DP. Did you read the article? Some of these orders are being placed in the name of Daniel Anderl, the murdered son of a federal judge. His killer showed up to the family's home posing as a delivery man. This is absolutely terrorism.
