It’s funny that people get outraged by this but don't have much to say about Israel and AIPAC literally purchasing nearly every representative of the US govt, including the president, for the last 50 years.
It's funny that you think that's the same. Did any single person receive $400 million before? Do tell.

You're definitely right. This is unprecedented. Except, oops, there's plenty of precedent -- just not publicized by your Democrat-enabling cronies in mass media. See your savior, Obama:

"When President Obama told supporters that he would morph his campaign into a new nonprofit that would accept unlimited corporate donations, the announcement set off a familiar round of griping from campaign finance reformers.
The creation this month of Organizing for Action, which will promote the president’s second-term agenda, appears to be the fourth reversal by Obama on major money-in-politics issues since 2008.
“No big bank or corporation will donate million-dollar checks to OFA without the expectation that it will impact which issues they engage on, and that’s very troubling,” said Adam Green of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee."

He won't be able to use it because it will not have the security device of US Air Force planes for president or ex presidents.
The government is going to pay for security and telecommunications improvements, which will take years. So we’ll invest tens of millions or more for a plane the government will use for one year or so. Someone call DOGE about this waste, fraud, and abuse.
The Boeing delivered Air Force One is expected in 2027 (previously projected for 2029.) Trump wants a new plane this year. It’s frivolous spending for something that is already being built and will be gifted to him… I mean “his library” in a few years.
His library will be a 501(c)(3) organization. If the plane is given to the library and he uses it without paying for it, it becomes an inurement issue and it will lose its tax exempt status and all of theose hundreds of millions iwll no longer be tax deductible.
Ooops.

You know that this thing is just a spy plane for our adversaries. No serious person would ever conduct business on it.
