So are MAGA excited or not? Sounds like Lots of discussion but not excitement.
As I said, wait and see mode. He seems conservative on gender and homosexual blessings etc, liberal on migration and the environment. A registered Republican but has made statements critical of Vance. Not a lot of information to go on really.
He hasn't lived in the US for a long time. He was probably a Republican in the traditional sense (Reagan, H.W. Bush) , not in the Trump cult nonsense that we have now.

He's an American from Chicago, guys! Why aren't you commenting about your great happiness at finally having an American Pope?
Truly, the above is tongue-in-cheek. I think I know why MAGAs are not commenting. They are not happy with the choice. They know it's a slap in the face to Trump.
The Catholic Church doesn't choose a leader to slap the face of someone who will be relevant for just four more years. Popes are Popes until death. Electing Popes is serious business and they take it seriously. American voters should take voting more seriously considering the unfit two most recent POTUSs.
I wish Americans took our elections more seriously. While Trump may be president for just a short time, he can do lots of damage.
Because we take it seriously is why we rejected Kamala. Another crazy train Biden term just wasn’t going to work.
So you thought turning the US into an authoritative dictatorship was the better option?
YES!

I’m not sure what you want all the Maga supporters to say? Something tells me that you would dump on MAGA matter what they say, or even if they say nothing. You folks need to find a candidate more impressive than Kamala Harris and find a positive, substantive message other than division politics distain for Trump, or you are going to be a permanent minority party.
