I'm reading through the comments. I can't believe how trashy you people are. You probably don't mow your lawns either. OP, you should move.

I don't park on the grass but this is why I'll never live in an HOA

Parking on the lawn, even just a portion of the car, is trashy.

Are they allowed to widen their driveway? Serves you right if they are forced to do that and do it in a way that is "allowed" but butt ugly. Or maybe they can install pavers with an F and a U subtly included.

Now tell us what’s really bothering you because we all know you don’t care about their lawn that much. Are they renters? Latino? Have noisy kids?

It's their grass they can do what they want with it.

Many things neighbors do "look trashy". Leaving christmas lights up year round, going too long between mows, having 4+ vehicles in a driveway, political signs, leaving trash cans at the curb for too long.

If you want it policed, join an HOA. Otherwise, live and let live.

Literally none of those things are allowed in our neighborhood.

Do you have an HOA? OP doesn’t.

I would be unhappy about this. But I probably would leave it alone if you're having to call the city to report.

Maybe you could offer them your driveway so that they don't park on their grass?
