THe dealer may have installed the plug but forgot to install a new washer. Without the wsher, the plug will slowly unscrew and fall out. There would be evidence of this, though. Oil sprayed all over the undercarriage. And it would have burned and smelled too.
You would need to look at oil pan and photographed. And newer cars like this one have a shield under oil pan to catch leaks.
My 2011 Car was totalled recently with only 49K miles. Progressive pulled the shieled under oil pan and found evidence of a slow oil drip and knocked money off car. I did not change my own oil, never got charged extra oil I did once or twice look under car over 13 years owning car to change headlight bulb or spare tire with a flat and I saw noting. Never a drip my driveway. I made Progressive give a picture and and was what it was.
Hard to tell anything under car anymore. And I have a white cement driveway and car was parked on it every day in same spot.
But we still dont know who changed oil. My friend sells used cars he gets at auction or trade in. He would not change oil if just changed and his guy who changes oil he would just say he did it right.
