AG IMX this year at UMD got.compressed into fewer days because of anticipated winter weather, but I don't know if that kind of schedule would work for PVS LC AG Champs - someone would have to do the math on event limits to figure it out.

Yeah, I read that too. The scheduling of this meet is ridiculous. Sometimes people have to make choices, you either do PVS champs on Saturday or your summer meet. In the proposed meet schedule for next season it appears they are not going to use this schedule again, it’s either Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday.

Yes, the AG LC champs is scheduled around summer swim. Last year and this year there have been no events scheduled at all on Saturday. MCSL Divisionals are on that Saturday this year, and NVSL has a regular dual meet that Saturday.

PVS LC Age Group Champs has been working around the MCSL Divisionals Saturday for at least a couple years since my kids have been swimming, maybe past 2-3 years. Either no PVS LC AGC events at all on Saturday, or they have done evening only on Saturday at least one year to not conflict with MCSL Divisionals on Saturday morning.

As a parent of an older swimmer. It really, really, really is ok to skip a Long course champ meet. No one will really care what your swimmer does at this meet.

Now if your swimmer cares, that is different. But with school starting before Labor Day by 2 weeks, enjoy life a little more.

Just my 2 cents as an old timer

Other summer leagues may have Divisionals on a different weekend than the NVSL.

This year’s schedule is out and they made a lot of changes from last year in terms of the order of events and which events are on what day.

This year’s schedule should be the same as last year’s because the format is remaining the same, and the 50s for the 13-14s were part of last year’s meet and built into the schedule.
