It’s not really a surprise that public opinion of the US is falling in the UK. The UK is quickly changing.

And I would say public opinion of the UK is falling in the US.
Disagree. More Americans are sending their kids to UK schools - both at the high school and University levels, and more Americans are looking to England and the EU as places of refuge for living and investments.
Link for that? It's tiresome when you throw out your opinions and expect people to accept them as fact. Sure, some Americans send their kids to UK schools and some will move to the UK or EU. But show us your link stating that "more Americans" are doing this than before.

Comments like that above are dogwhistles. The PP omitted to mention that the most common baby name in the UK is Muhammad (or variations of it), but that doesn’t mean that the majority of babies are given that name. For a start, it’s not a girl’s name, so that rules out about 50 per cent. Also, it’s a name that’s commonly given to Muslim boys (Muslims make up about 6 per cent of the UK population), whereas the huge majority choose names from a much wider range (hence diluting the concentration of those names). So, a rough calculation means that for every 6 Muhammads registered at birth, there are 94 other boys (who conceivably might all have different names).
DP. The TOP BABY NAME for boys in the UK is Muhammad, various spellings included. The PP is right - it's been this way for at least the past decade. That speaks volumes.

The democratic countries around the world have no respect for Trump and our government for good reason. After the Popes funeral there was a room full of leaders standing around the edges of the room. There were quite a few people there. Leaders were introduced and people clapped. Zelensky came in and he got a big applause. Trump came after him and there was dead silence. Not even some random polite clapping. Trump was given zero respect while Zelensky, the man without the suit who JD Vance snickered at got a roomful of respect and love.

Literally any publication.

Because due largely to stratospheric tuition costs thanks to student loans being handed out like frozen water bottles at a protest, colleges in the UK are often cheaper than US schools. A coworker sent her daughter to St Andrew’s for this very reason - because it was a literal fraction of the cost of GW or American, and she didn’t want her saddled with loans for the next 20 years.
As for those thinking they’ll find some refuge living in the UK? Plan on converting to Islam or brush up on your Sharia Law and get used to paying a very punitive Nonbeliever’s Tax. Because the UK will be an Islamic theocracy within the next 20 years.

When they started jailing old ladies for social media posts that called police “liars” and “thugs” I knew the UK was finished.
In another ten years, they’ll have a shariah based government and will be executing people for Apostasy, just like Iran and several other theocracies currently do now.
