Nonsense. Illegals don’t belong here. She chose to take her citizen daughter. This is a non story.

Then why did the judge, a Trump appointee, raise concerns that the Trump administration deported a two-year-old U.S. citizen with “no meaningful process?

Great question

There was no order. That’s the problem. ICE just shipped her out

Wrong. The mother was deported and has legal custody and chose to take her daughter. The US is not going to forcibly take a child from her mother and it’s absurd to suggest they should.

Illegal immigrants who have US citizen children are given the option of taking their children back with them when they are deported. That is what the mother chose to do. Her father is an illegal immigrant who is subject to a deportation order as well. He’s not entitled to stay here with the child. She would have to be sent back to live with an appointed guardian or relative who had legal residence.

Without an order of deportation the child was not deported. It’s a legal document. It carries real weight. The child can come back to the U.S. whenever she chooses. Those deported don’t enjoy that privilege.

Against the fathers wishes and with no due process. See the problem?

The problem is coming here illegally and having kids.

DP. You may not like it, but the US still has birthright citizenship under the constitution. The Supreme Court is expected to take up the matter, and it may rule against birthright citizenship but, for now, it’s still allowed by our constitution.

Birthright citizenship is one of several factors that make this mass deportation agenda so messy.

I'm convinced a large majority American people would support an agenda that prioritizes securing the border completely, reforming immigration/asylum laws and then focusing solely on the deportation of criminals and proven gang members who don't have legal status to be here.

if well take some time, but eventually the message will be well known ...

do not come to the US illegally - If you are in the US illegally, leave.

As long as employers will hire them, they will come. The cruelty is the point. They want them to come but want to make sure they are afraid so they won't complain about abuse.

exactly

which is why you need to call your representative and ask them to mandate e-verify

A majority of voters believe the Democratic Party "deliberately kept the Southern border open" during the Biden administration, including one out of four Democratic voters and nearly half of all independents. That's the finding of the March survey from The Harris Poll and Harris X for the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University. This is a problem.

Low trust in immigration enforcement threatens support for the very idea of immigration. The border crisis had many victims, including American workers who now have diminished opportunities and stagnating wages. E-Verify protects American workers and discourages illegal immigration. Why haven't you signed on to make it mandatory? That would be a strong first step in restoring lost trust.

Due process? The child wasn’t deported. She was taken back to Honduras at her mother’s request. The child can return if that is the mother’s wish. There is nothing stopping her from sending the child back to the US.
