Arlington appears to be a more stable and well-organized club, with a clear pathway for strong players to progress. On the other hand, McLean has Mike Stankovic coaching that team, which is appealing, I guess? I’d really appreciate any input or insight you might have.
It would be great to have a high caliber coach. The 2016 Green team rarely won any games. Hopefully, the team will turn around with Mike Stankovic.
I saw this team won their Jefferson Cup Flight against good competition, while "top teams" like GFR and Arlington didn't do so well. Looks like this McLean is doing fine, and now with a top notch coach.
I do not believe they have won any games against other top teams. They played in the second tier at the Jefferson Cup while other top teams like GFR and Arlington played against other top tier teams.
It looks like McLean Green beat Concorde Fire, which is a top tier ECNL club and a perennial top flight Jeff Cup team. Concorde, and therefore McLean, would likely compete favorably with the two teams that dominated Arlington by a combined score of 15-5 in their two group stage games…ouch.

Does he win the right way? Not just kick it too your biggest kid and go for it.

It does not matter if you have a PhD in math and you set up curriculum for elementary schools, you cannot teach 3rd grade math.
Ok, got it.
