They seem to care more about photos than about the concept of marriage.
But I mean how often do you look at your wedding photos and, when you do, what is the thing you focus on.
Like, sure we have this one nice photo from my wedding that's framed and referenced often but specifically because my FIL died unexpectedly the next year and it's one of the last really nice photos of him dancing with his kids.

Destination wedding
On a weekday
No kids
Cash bar
Special clothing requirements for guests
Demand for cash presents included in invitation
Am I leaving anything out?

If it's like "women please wear yellow, men wear aquamarine ties", that's super irritating because you're demanding I go out and buy a specific outfit for your wedding and it's controlling.
Even “don’t wear white” is too much. if I have a go to off-white sheath dress that I wear to most summer occasions, let me. If other guests think I’m trying to to upstage the bride, let them judge me. You just be happy I came.

I haven't finished the album 30 years on. We have one wedding photo hanging on the wall.
I thought I was the only one! (Except I don't even have a photo on the wall)
