That is crazy...my 2014 kid played against Brit Am in MSI for many years and they were constantly a disaster. Last year, after my kid moved to Potomac we player a tournament and was surprised to see Brit Am there as well. When they day of the game against them was scheduled to take place, the game ended up not being played because they lacked enough players. Run away from them...

Potomac has a great futures program, 2x week practices. While travel isn't for everyone if your child wants it then I think the futures program is a good start - no crazy "actual travel" and the Potomac coaches are great. We had a child who hated MSI and loved travel.

Brit am is a lovely program. Wonderful management, great coaches. Steve at Brit Am was (is) from the potomac sphere.

Whatever you pick, just have them switch to a different sport by at least age 8. And yes, starting in rec is better and you shouldn't leave to go to a big money program.. Shocking how the bad treatment of kids is in the youth soccer industry.
