What's the deal with Pride? Which year?

MDDC has one good team, 29s, and their roster is set basically (unless there’s a massive move to Cap, but few, if any, will be honest about their intentions about staying or not). No one is excited for YJ. Having MDU come in to Bethesda helps for high school players.
If MDU Bethesda wants to be taken seriously as an option for high school they should announce the coaches, practice sites and recruiting coordinator.
+1
This is the most important thing.

They play in a week and a half. We will find out the answer.

Connections? Have the MDU recruiting results last couple of years been very good? How many girls have they placed in T25 programs?

It sure sounded to me like they stated that it would take a few years.
And you're right, and if you're happy with the current process and the sh***y website and non-existent social media for your DD, then this shouldn't affect her or her teammates' process. If there are changes, I would guess they would only show up and affect the girls currently in elementary and middle school.
The challenge going forward is that Capital will start to have to convince these girls to leave the clubs, rather than the way they all flock to Capital now. Facts are that when those younger girls start with these other clubs early on, and when not, if they are convinced that they are equal, if not better, options for them for HS, why would they leave. Capital will learn that the YJ and M&D names carry real weight, no matter what the city name is after.
As long as BLC ends in 8th grade, Capital will be in great shape. MDU Bethesda would need to offer 100% discounts to entice families to leave the only successful program in montgomery county.
