Wow no one believes that. American citizens are kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags with no trial or due process. I remember when the right care about sh#t like this and the constitution.

Name one

So arrest and imprison American citizens with no proof or legal process. The burden is on the individual American to proof themselves innocent from a foreign prison where no one can have contact with you?

Yeah you people are not the heroes you think you are. You and your kind are the bad guys in every movie.

What US citizen has been “kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags”?

First they sent the illegal immigrants to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not an illegal immigrant.

Then they sent the legitimate asylum seekers to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not a legitimate asylum seeker.

Then the President went on TV and said he wanted to send US citizens to a literal concentration camp and I said "don't worry, I'm pretty sure I know how the rest of this goes - he stops there and everything is OK, right?"

Being a citizen means something. I know you and yours don’t know the difference between legal, illegal and a citizen, but they are worlds apart from each other.

Despite your feelings, any noncitizen here in the United States is a guest. And as a guest they need to know that they can be removed.

You must have missed the white house press conference where they proposed sending *American citizens* to prison in El Salvador.

But why? Under what grounds would a random US citizen be sent there?

Because Sauron the Orange doesn't like you. Like Hillary. Or Charlie Krebs. Or Marc Elias. Or literally hundreds of others.

Despite your feelings your cult leader is behaving like a king or dictator. He does not care about you or any other human. He also is completely disregarding our courts and laws. So wake the f**k up moron.

There is a HUGE difference in being removed back to your country of origin and being sent to a horrific jail in another country, due process or not. I don't care if you are a serial killer, we should be better than that. We have no leg to stand on if other countries start doing this to US citizens.

What exactly does being a citizen mean when ICE abducts you, puts you on a plane to El Salvador with ZERO due process, and locks you in a prison nobody has ever left, controlled by a dictator who has refused to release a prisoner that the Supreme Court has ordered returned?

You can say "oh they would never do that to a citizen" all you want but do you really not understand how stupid that makes you sound when the President is literally saying that's exactly what he wants to do? What exactly do you think is stopping him from doing it? The Supreme Court who he is right this very minute openly defying on this very same issue? Impeachment when his party controls all of Congress? Common decency and respect for the Constituion and laws of this country? That's the most far fetched of all.

As a woman, I can believe this might happen to me.

Doesn't matter if I am white or not, doesn't matter what political party I vote for, doesn't matter if my ancestors have been here for hundreds of years. If I didn't fit into all these categories, I know I would be grabbed faster.

Yes. I’m a Black woman. I’m used to the reality of being viewed by some as being less than a “real” American, even though my roots in this country date back several generations. I can easily imagine someone not bothering to read my paperwork, and I don’t see Trump’s America pulling out all the stops to bring me back home. As I said in the other thread, I hope I’m wrong.

They were never afraid of an authoritarian government, it was always about their fantasy of murdering the people they have "othered." The "defending against tyranny" bit was just a wafer-thin cover to make their liberal murder fetish socially acceptable.

Why do you think so many of them have a massive hard-on for the Duttons in "Yellowstone" despite them being incredibly corrupt politicians and dirty cops who not only use murder and violence to achieve their political and personal goals, but also literally enslave people? Because they get to mow down liberal Californian "outsiders" with impunity, which is all they have ever wanted.

Ok crazy. Wow.
