Just stop it. He’s my dependent and lives in my home and has not graduate from hs yet. I asked him 4 times to look for these slacks. He claimed he did. Even went to the dry cleaners to see if they were there. I don’t want to have to buy more dress pants. I bought the duffle bag and the clothing in it. I’ve not looked in a bag or in his things for years and sure don’t do so in a snooping way. So just stop with your holier than others attitudes.


So you haven't learned your lesson is what you are saying. So now you have to live with seeing it. Best to just MYOB in regards to it.

This might be the case. My friends once filled a bookbag of mine with a handful of random pills as a prank. When my parents confronted me, I burst out laughing. I don't know what they were...and they were all loose and different from each other.

I would mention it briefly, after putting the item back.

"Here are your slacks. In the future, for your own privacy, please check your own bags."

That's sufficient to tip junior off that something is AWKWARD.
