ECNL was already consumer recognized better product and with less teams now in NOVA- you are lying to yourself if its not your child's goal to make one of those three teams. This doesn;t mean you are not good if you don't. GA is a wonderful platform for the 4th best goalie who wants to play and not split halves. GA is ideal for undersized technical players to get mins. GA could be better for the 5th best striker in NOVA to ensure you are featured and scoring goals. Find your fit, but please end the argument that ECNL is dying because of GA's growth this spring. They are closer to the new CCL with no threat of taking customers from those 3 ECNL teams, trust.
Keep adding clubs in NOVA GA you are just making the 3 ECNL clubs more exclusive and thus more attractive for competitve players to play together for the chance to not get spanked out west each June.
Except that only 1 of these 3 ECNL teams are playoff material
Undersized? Have you seen Pedri or Gavi play? Supersized idea is only in the US (by the way Pulisic is the best in US). The day the system figures out the undersized technical players, they will win the World Cup. Same applies to women’s soccer
What are you on about? The USWNT has a good mix of bigger, more powerful women and smaller women. I think the women's game at the highest level here does it correctly. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit your narrative of only teams with small players is the best way forward. I'm sorry your child is genetically challenged.
LOL you must have missed how USWNT actually sucks now that the rest of the world actually decided to create real female footballers
The defending Olympic champions suck?
1) Olympic soccer isn’t serious and there’s a cap for players (3 max) above 23 years old
2) yes, actually. They struggled dearly and lucked out in the grand scheme of the functionality and quality of team In this sport
3) thanks for proving why yanks are clueless with a ball on their feet

ok.. just wait and see.. go look at FVU boys side for past 2 seasons. ECNL is not going to keep patience. Arlington did absolutely show interest in MLSN even if they didn't apply. If boys keep losing talent. You bet they will jump. VDA is best situated.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:ECNL is going to fall apart in this area soon. FVU ain’t keeping the badge? Arlington is out because they lost players? VDA is now a question mark?
None of this is true.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Poster above is a classic daddy with the ECNL hat. You are forgetting about all the boys wanting to play in MLSN, and GA partnered with them. Clubs won’t be able to sustain the migration on the boys side long term, and eventually will have to switch as well.
For the record my dd plays ECNL. But you have to see it for what it is.
PP Actually I've been GA and ECNL daddy. Boys certainly impact the badge; they are impossibile to forget, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about right now April 2025. ECNL is a far superior product locally and nationally and that is not changing anytime soon. GA can add 10 teams and it will only strengthen those ECNL teams. Will it likely change, sure change is the name of the game, but if your DD is in HS already don't hold your breath in GA for this change. If your kid has the talent and motivation to play on one of the three ECNL teams left and isn't one of those exceptions I noted already then you are in fact a fool for continuing this mindless debate. The customers have spoken. Just ask NVA how there teams look after their badge switch?
