That and how much the USD will be valued.

Personally, I'd stick around US only because prob less foreign tourists are coming and also because truly there's a lot of good sights in US and I say this as someone who studied in Europe, been all over the world incl Asia, Central America, Mexico, Canada and Caribbeans. I really think that people forget how beautiful AZ, CO, NM, MT, UT, ID, WY, CA, OR are. I would maybe take a pass at FL in general but the Keys are great as is always Chicago/NYC and of course PR/HI and AK.

I wouldn't stay in town for sure but I would explore the western states as that's where a lot of of the national parks are. It's not just camping per se but activities be it on a resort for R&R or outdoor sights to see.

Except nobody will be staffing the national parks?

Unless the state department issues a warning, I plan to maintain travel to all our overseas vacation spots this summer.

Wouldn’t travel with a green card.

Not if I can’t drive there.

We just returned from a week in England. One of my biggest takeaways was how safe it felt. So yes, I would return this summer.

We’re traveling to Germany and France in August, so yes, I would have no problem going to England.

I suppose I’ll delete Twitter before returning to the US, but I barely post there anymore and have been meaning to leave the app anyway.

Might want to open a new account to show you are loyal to the current regime. Although it may be in a few months Elon is cast out, so be ready to delete again if needed.

^ met expats at airport who moved there during Covid originally for a yr that's gone on to many years now. They couldn't be happier esp with their young kids' education. Their families who once thought they were weirdos now wish they could join them lol

I wouldn't want to return - we were out for Spring Break to another lovely country and I didn't want to come home.
