I am more of skirts and dresses woman but it looks good in almost anything.

... just reframe your thinking. Short of an overtly sexual compliment or a direct invitation to spend more time together, you cannot know the intentions of the other person!

There is a spectrum of interest here that you're entirely ignoring with your insistence of "getting hit on". You know this, in your heart of hearts, I hope. If someone is attentive to you or your spouse, because you look good that day in your outfit, or have something entertaining to say, it doesn't mean they are intentionally flirting, or wish to do anything extra with you than they're currently doing.

Going by the criteria of some posters here, it would mean I get hit on constantly and that I sometimes hit on other people!!! Except that this isn't true. Do people prefer to talk to other people that seem approachable, are good-looking and/or can sustain an intelligent conversation? Of course! We all do! But that's mostly unconscious and doesn't qualify for "hitting on" someone.

Some posters are just so full of themselves.

Happened to me once...I just pretended to be clueless enough not to take the hints she was dropping.

I comment on things like men’s dress shirts. It’s harmless and a nice thing to say. I’m not flirting.

My DH is also a 6’3” guy in a band who is very extroverted and works in sales. He’s good with kids and is athletic. So he gets hit on some.

Never verbally. I've recently rededicated myself to the gym, lost 30 pounds and gained a fair amount of muscle. I'm naturally large framed so it sits well on me.

All I've noticed is lingering sideways glances while walking by which never used to happen, but never anything verbal.
