2 back is probably his best event at 1:53, goes 1:45 in 2 free and 1:56 in 2 fly. He is currently a freshman. AAC does appear to have some strong swimmers in 15/16 age group.
So there are only like 10 boys in the country with those kinds of times. The only club that is going to be able to work with that kind of talent would be NCAP and honestly it would be a disservice to your son to be at any other club in this area. AAC has one strong boy in the 15-16 range and his parent is his coach which I think explains a lot of his success. You would not get the same treatment.
Did you misspell county with country?
Per USA swimming data: This year there are only 41 14 y/o boys with USA swimming times under 1:54 in the 200 back, 1 from PVS.
Just in case you can't count, 41 is one more than 4 times 10.

FWIW, those NCAP swimmers are from NCAP Marymount, NCAP Alexandria and NCAP West. OP, if I were you I would set up meetings with the coaches at NCAP Marymount, NCAP Alexandria and AAC and arrange for your swimmer to join a practice with the group he would be placed in at each location.

Not when you cross reference it with the other times that were listed. The pool gets smaller (less than 10) per usaswimming data.
