It's a few kids fighting. What makes it look more dramatic is that all the other kids run in hoards from fight to fight trying to film it. Kids have always gotten into fights. What's crazy now is how whole crowds stand there filming it. It's kind of sick.

No one racial or ethnic group has a monopoly of bad behavior. There are black, Hispanic, and white gangs and individual bad actors. The focus should be on swift and effective suppression of criminal and antisocial behavior, without regard to the race or ethnicity of the actors. That means imposing penalties based on behavior, not on misguided notions of excuses to due "historical inequities", or the disproportionate representation of certain groups in jail if those are committing crimes. That there is not perfect balance among the races and ethnicities in prison is no reason to not imprison some people, just to try to make the populations more pleasingly balanced.

So depressing what this area has become.

Kids on school trips usually come during the week, not the weekends, and the videos I saw showed mostly what looked to be older teens - not 12-13 year old junior high students. This was definitely locals.

And yes, Hispanic kids wouldn’t be doing all this.

They fixed the problem at National Harbor.

Pentagon City is a nice mall, whatever some PPs are saying. This is unacceptable. They can fix this too, if Arlington wants to.

There should've been at least as least 50 arrests and the police should have brought in swat or the national guard to put these goons away. I would have hope tazing at least...

I am so happy my kids don't go to that mall this is scary, it looks like many ran towards the brawl to add to it. I hope there are arrests or mandatory adult supervision required after this. There are various videos but Reddit talks about cops getting injured.

Enact and enforce curfews.
