But that doesn't work if there is a legitimate waiting line. They want to text you when your table is ready. A fake phone number goes nowhere and you're still standing there waiting for a table.
This is why they should stick to the buzzer system. No one should be forced to give up their personal cell phone number and be required to open up a third-party app which (in the small print) you give permission to do anything with your info they want.
That's a hella price to pay for sitting down and eating a burger.
