PP here. Dems hoping to win the Nov 24 election is not a typo, it’s a criticism. It looks to me like most Dems on here are more focused on wanting voters to regret choosing Trump over Kamala than on doing anything to help Democrats win future elections against the next Republican candidates not named Trump. This is a big mistake. We can’t ever get Nov 2024 back. Not can we get Nov 2016 back.

It’s vile of Democrats to do what they do. It’s not vile of people to notice it and point it out. This website has thousands of comments from DC Dems wishing for recession, wishing for the voters to suffer for choosing the wrong candidate, saying that the voters F***** Around and now will Find Out (FAFO). And lots of excited comments about how recession and economic pain will allow Democrats to easily win upcoming elections without having to be more responsive to voter preferences. I know, and agree that Democrats are better people than Republicans on average. But it doesn’t mean they never say vile things or wish harm on their opponents. They do, and there’s plenty of evidence of it for you to browse through on this very site.

Unfortunately for the republic, Trump is well on his way to this trifecta.
