The top countries from which tourists to the U.S. come from are Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

Trump and/or his administration have managed to trash all three countries. I can't imagine that will encourage tourism from those countries. Why would you visit a country whose government is hostile toward you?

Bookings from Canadian tourists to the US are down over 75% for the next 6 months. That is going to KILL NJ and FL summer tourism.

There are two special elections in Florida coming up shortly, maybe they will save themselves.

I'm OP and I live in Florida - and don't get your hopes up. The only thing more incompetent than the Trump administration is Florida Dems.

IPP are you volunteering for either of these campaigns? Don’t put this on the FL Dems. They’re just people like you.Every single one of us has agency. Get on their websites and sign up to volunteer.

Spoken like someone who's never put their hopes into the Florida Dems

And no, these campaigns aren't anywhere near where I live. I have volunteered with Fl Dems in the past. I'll ask you to keep your condescending suggestions to yourself, thanks. We are all smart, engaged people here - plus a few trolls.

I wouldn’t go to an amusement park this summer without doing your due diligence on Reddit and other groups about what the staffing levels are like. A lot of places hire European college students for the summer from central and Eastern Europe. Cedar Point definitely did that in Ohio because the immediate area around the park is somewhat rural/just not enough people to work there. Not enough staff means some rides won’t be operating and some food stands won’t be open, leading to longer lines everywhere.

Maybe some won’t even get the chance to do that.

“An inn owner in Old Orchard Beach, Maine ― just 150 miles from the U.S.-Canadian border ― says President Donald Trump’s attacks on Canada have driven away the vast majority of his customers and left his business on the brink of closure.

Sterling Morse, owner of the family-run Point of View Inn, told CNN’s Randi Kaye in a segment that aired Thursday that “easily” 90% of his business has disappeared as tourists from Canada, who make up the bulk of his clientele, cancel stays as part of a growing trendprotesting Trump.”

Cape May County, too. Going to be a great summer along the south Jersey shore, seeing the MAGA get knocked down a few pegs. Wondering if they’re even going to have any employees with Trump’s border crackdown.

Plus also the student workers will probably choose to skip the U.S. this summer.

It's about throwing Europeans in detention and holding them there for weeks for no real reason.

No way would I visit the US right now from another country.
