Sibling names don’t have to match. Robert is a strong, classic name.

Once example of sibling names that don’t match but are all individually nice are JD Vance’s kids: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.

What about honoring the kid by not giving him such a crappy name?

What about not being a dick?

It literally sounds like the child is there temporarily.

I don’t love the name Robert but I used it to honor a deceased family member.

I'd go with Andrew for the acronym.

FWIW, I don't think kids names have to "match." I might side eye a family with a Jaylen and an Archibald, but I think your kids names go together just fine.

Bertie? Have you been watching “The Crown”? Like, what? And that’s a nickname for Albert, not Robert.

+1 Robert would have been called Robin (as in Robin Hood). My neighbor is an old British guy named Robert and he is called Robin.

Hunter! Or Graham.

It's fine. Robert is pretty classic. My cousin goes by Rob, and I think that works well with Max.

This is what I think!

None of these names are terrible, but I agree that it sounds like two different sets.

My nephew is a Robert and we call him Bobby. I love that as a nickname for a boy.

Why is everyone criticizing the kids who are already alive and names? Are you suggesting they all change names?

Max and Emma are way overused.
