Here’s what turned me off in the last election. I’m not going to put a lot of time into this because the name calling will start soon.
The focus on all of the Trump hatred. Move on. The end of democracy talk. The summer of vibes and brat campaign and nothing of substance. The protests and yelling that are still going on. Basically I want a mature adult who can have a rational conversation, with any political affiliation or gender, who is a strong leader. I’m not looking for a catch phrase or hat. I don’t want someone to tell me how to think.
And yes, I’m still mad about the Covid vaccine mandate I had to get for work and the condescending way I’m spoken to and told how I should be voting to protect my body. That goes for telling me how to vote for vaccines (which I would get anyway), as a women (I’ve never had an abortion but it’s my choice and this isn’t a topic I vote about) or immigration, since I’m from an immigrant family.
No name-calling here, but I gotta be honest. After reading what is important to you, it really seems that Trump would have been the LAST person you would vote for. Can you please explain hoe you came to the conclusion that Harris would have been worse than Trump?
I understand that brat didn’t land well with a lot of people, but it is better than maga, right? Also, best ass something started organically with voters. It wasn’t something Kamala sold.
What on earth did the Trump campaign offer “of substance”? He never even pretended to have a real plan for anything. He campaigned on hate and retribution. He said they were eating the dogs and cats, he had concepts of a plan, he got tired of questions so broke out in a dance party, he shut down a McDonalds so he could pretend to work there. Where was the substance? Kamala had WAY more substance in her campaign, especially considering the fact that she had zero prep time and was thrown in.
Were you forced to get a vaccine or lose your job? Honest question. It varies by employer. The fed gov never said people have to be fired if they don’t get vaccine. My employer just had unvax get temp taken every morning. That’s it.
Your views on abortion and immigration seem pretty liberal.
Not trying to come at you. Just genuinely curious how you decided on Trump if those are your views. Absolutely nothing you said indicated that Trump would get your vote.
Okay, you were respectful so I will respond. Thank you for that. I believe in a woman’s right to choose. I believe immigrants should come here legally. Immigration was actually a big one for me to sway me towards Trump.
This was not the entire reason but mid summer, when I was completely disgusted with both parties and the Democrats were full on with Biden’s declining health cover up and Harris summer of happy joy vibes Trump got shot in the face. He stood up and and yelled fight. He’s completely nuts and crazy. But who do you want in the face of evil, leading our country and facing other countries who want to destroy us? A woman who’s campaigning on happy joy vibes or someone who gets shot in the face and stands up and is ready to fight?

We need new faces who understand what people's concerns are. And I don't see any, sadly.
Strange, the actual hijacking was of MAGA and the GOP. Who are the elected leaders on the left who are so progressive that they have hijacked the party? Schumer? Jeffires? Biden? I hardly think so.
