Quite often I see girls from their grades at NCS and think how fortunate it is that my kids picked Holton over NCS (accepted at both schools at the application year). I say that because the NCS girls seem so much less aware of others, self absorbed and cliquey. To be fair I do know one very kind, smart, and polite NCS girl.
I also see lots of SR and Holy Child girls. In those schools it’s more dependent on the grade, less of a dominant school culture. Both great girls and lemons mixed in.
Wow. Good job, Holton mom. You sound like a mean girl yourself. Makes me want to side-eye Holton, knowing it's associated with moms like you. Talk about lacking awareness... lol.

Juniors also. The sophomores on the other hand...oi.
WHAT?? No! JUNIORS HORRIBLE. And AHC support non existent when dealing with it. This is by far the worst school over when talking about mean girl culture.

I think if your daughter fits the mold there and has all the right socioeconomic clout to go with it, perhaps she won’t encounter any of the “mean girl” stuff. If there are any quirks, home issues or learning concerns, there could be some bumps in the road for her at NCS. Just my two cents

+1
They tend to select a great cohort of kind, supportive girls.
