How do you IF? What hours?

It's easy until you hit menopause.

5’3” - in high school, was 120-125 lbs. Now, 110-120 lbs. changes in adulthood are mostly due to muscle gain/loss from illness and injury - I may have more of a belly at times but my clothing size doesn’t change much.

I am not sure how much i currently weigh and don’t keep track of what I’m eating. I don’t restrict myself from anything, but I get full easily so I eat 4-5 small meals/snacks a day with water and tea or black coffee- maybe soda a few times a week. I grew up eating small portions, have an active job, take public transportation, and enjoy exercising/sports. I don’t like oily food and stopped drinking a long time ago. So in that sense no, I don’t put effort into maintaining my weight. The only time i think about my high school weight is when I come across an old piece of clothing that still fits.

On the other hand, if the above habits weren’t already part of my daily routine, it would be quite difficult to maintain them regularly. My older relatives have to work very hard to stay in shape because their routines are different.

Also, if my ADHD was untreated, I’d be gorging myself on snacks all day (which is why I weighed more in high school) - or back to drinking uncontrollably. So that makes a big difference.

5’3, was 100lbs in high school and around 105 now at 41 after kids. Yes, i do have to eat clean and limit processed foods but that is a decision I made for health issues that developed and not for weight maintenance. I don't overexercise but do aim to walk or jog for 30min a day. Weight seems low but I have a very small frame so I look thin but not emaciated.

Well I was 5’5 and 180 lbs in HS and now I’m 160, so I weigh less, but yeah I’ve worked hard my whole life. It’s honestly a bit of a trigger to hear women say that they could get away with eating whatever they want until they hit 40 and now they can’t and they pout about it. I’ve been on the roller coaster since I was 10 and it’s exhausting.

It is not natural. It is not no effort. You IF which is trying and effort.

No, not necessarily but your height could have changed and you could’ve gone from obese to not obese for instance but maintain the same weight.

It would be very rare that this applies to woman. They stop growing well before the end of high school.
