Maybe there is something off about your dynamic that suggests domestic violence and they want to speak to you alone in case you need help. Does he speak for you or over you?

At 33 weeks pregnant? Are you serious? I think OP should ask for Clarification since she doesn’t understand the office policy because there are likely different rules for different situations. But engaging in conduct that is tantamount to breaking up with your doctor when you’re counting due date by weeks seems unbelievably unwise.

Obstetricians are some of the worst people in the world. I am convinced misogynists are attracted to obstetrics, especially high risk obstetrics so they have access to women to abuse exactly the way Boy Scouts attracted pedos.

I have stories that would age you. I found out later the MFM who made a sexually abusive joke to me got a slap on the wrist for a fetal death. Abuse of pregnant women is so common it has a term: obstetric violence
