Its not about her deadline, its about the court order. Why does dad only get two weeks? Give him more time and maybe he'll be more cooperative if she lets him have more of a relationship.
OP didn't say that he only gets two weeks. We have no idea. Maybe those two weeks are the only weeks he gets all year. Maybe he has primary custody, and she gets the summer minus those two weeks. Maybe they do every other week, except for one two week period for each of them to allow for a longer vacation.
There seems to be an assumption from some posters that no matter the situation Dad is the victim. There's no evidence of that here.

She obviously needs the childcare. It is very common for kids to be signed up most weeks summer. And yes the spots fill up months out in advance
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Register them for camp. Then tell him to pick any other 2 weeks. Realistically what is he going to do about it take you back to court? Not likely.
There seems to be a weird assumption on this thread that camp is something that lasts a week. OP is probably a working parent, most single moms are. She probably needs care every week except the ones her ex has.

Document what! He’s following the court order. Offer him something like more time.
