Right, this shouldnt even be a big deal. Or go one step further, google one of the places and read reviews and mention one of the star dishes that was really good. "Yes, we went and the green curry was amazing!" Why is OP struggling with this concept?


Uh bc it feels ridiculous to have to lie to a grown woman bc I didn’t eat at the restaurant she liked. And then I have to make sure I remember the lie for years to come…



Yeah, get over it. People tell little white lies all the time, it's called basic social skills. Just like people lie to you when you ask if your butt looks good in those jeans...
