Oh, I beg to differ. Many, many people would like to see men naked. Especially movie stars.

There is a long-held theory about it in cinema studies. The male gaze. Directors, writers, producers, editors, all men. I believe Jane Campion filmed Harvey Keitel in frontal nudity in The Piano as she is one of the few women to direct a love story. In general, we see the viewpoint and thoughts of straight male creators.

There's generally been a move away from gratuitous nudity all together in Hollywood. In the internet age, no one is going to the cinema or watching a tv show to see a naked body. 9 1/2 Weeks is not getting made today. And actresses have been much more vocal about rejecting unnecessary nudity. It very rarely moves the story along. As for filming men, an aroused man gets you an X rating, which no one wants. And almost no one wants to see unaroused male bits. It's not aesthetically interesting and it's not necessary to move a story forward.
