Not good. Saw some guy back into a concrete barrier in the parking garage and another guy drinking in his car during lunch. Another taking pictures of his Tesla (assuming to put it up for sale.)

I think a lot of people are still at home. At our agency, managers go back later this week and individual contributors in a few weeks. But lots will probably take metro, so impact on traffic may not be as bad.

Not going in tomorrow because I'm sick as a dog from whatever crud I caught in the office last week.

I do not believe this whatsoever.

Well that doesn't matter, does it. My managers will believe it. They'll hear me sound like shit for days after I'm back.

The bus I take had 10 people max the last month. Today it was full, no one was left standing though.

weird. people get sick in winter. people who are around more people are more likely to get sick. this isn't hard to believe at all.

Right? We haven't even hit our full RTO date yet (many have been back 50% for years) and everyone with kids in school is sick already. It's February.

NSWC in Cardrock in Bethesda this morning the parking lot was 3/4 filled. I drive by it around 1-2 times a week during week. Lot was nearly empty last five years.

That is crazy they stayed home five years when they have a huge facility with a gigantic parking lot right off 95 so easy commute.

I thought you all were exempt?

Patent examiners are exempt (so far) but management and anyone else not covered by the CBA is not.

Half my office took leave today. And next week is President's day weekend. It'll will be a few weeks before we really know what traffic is going to be like.

There's also a bad flu going around the schools. Many are probably forced to take sick leave to watch their kids today (instead of teleworking).

Crossed American Legion Bridge at 55 miles an hour at 830 am. So much for traffic.
