DD and I just had this, also tested negative for covid and flu.

I also thought tamiflu was for vulnerable populations, not everyone.

Don't you? We've actually never had flu before so I don't really know. I was going off the CDC page which says treatment isn't necessary if you aren't high risk (and did before the inauguration haha).

He already has. I've never had to the flu.

That's what my husband said, until this year when he got the flu and was out for two weeks.

This is precisely why we use the combo test. To know if we need Tamiflu or paxlovid. And I can find it out without going into a medical facility with tons of ill people (most not masking), so I won't end up with something else either.

And yes, if I test for Flu or Covid, I isolate from my household so we can prevent others from getting ill and I mask if I need to go out anywhere in public

The problem is that it felt like a basic cold yesterday. Sniffles, light cough. I even went to the gym. It wasn’t until last night that the body aches and splitting headache started.

The problem is I feel bad that I spread it.

And yes I have Flu A, confirmed on a home swab. Started Tamiflu this afternoon. I’ve had the flu before and it usually doesn’t start mild like this.
