I prefer brownies to most "nice bakery cookies." You could do an experiment with plates side by side. I bet brownies would disappear before fancy cookies.

This isn't a 5 star meal princess.

In my experience, Super Bowl parties aren’t where people are eating mixed berries and fussy desserts. Brownies, cookies, and other bar cookies and pick up desserts are the ones that get eaten.

This isn’t a dinner party and is usually a splurge day where people graze and eat things they don’t typically eat.

Where would you store it? I have no room in my freezer for an ice cream cake.

Brownies, sliced into small square bites
One pan with nuts, one without, clearly labeled

You could add cookies if that doesn't seem like enough. Maybe find out if the teams' cities have a standard cookie.

Unless you know your people, or there will be multiple desserts, some of you might be surprised to learn how many adults— even adults who are drinking — don’t eat much dairy. I’m another vote for brownies. Krispy treats, homemade chocolate chip cookies, turtle bars, hand-pies, blondies and other bar cookies might also be good options.

I would bring several big bags of M&Ms and call it a day.

No. Difficult to store, serving is an issue.

You are the one who knows who is going to be there and what they like, but this is not traditional American football food and would be an odd and inconvenient choice of dessert for a football party.

No problem. I am the new America.
Mango Icecream or Pistachio Kulfi will work too.

I’m making cherry cheesecake dip with nilla wafers and animal crackers to dip. Dip just feels right for Super Bowl.
