That’s true in the aggregate, but National is a much riskier airport than average due to the short runways and crowded airspace. FWIW, I don’t believe driving to Dulles instead creates any meaningful incremental risk.

Have you ever driven on the Woodrow Wilson bridge when a helicopter and plane are BOTH flying over you. I have dozens of times.
It's alarming. Don't tell me that landing a 737 isn't less risky when there ISN'T another aircraft below you.
