Those everlane pants look like the elastic waist pants my grandma wore in the 90s. All it needs is a short sleeve flowered shirt that has elastic at the bottom.

Yolanda Edwards is rich and a relatively famous middle aged influencer, renowned for her sophistication by incredibly rich New York ex-fashion editors. But…she is so dowdy and unattractive and she looks like a toothpicked-legged frump. Awful.

+100, we had a long layover in Tokyo. I wore comfortable lounge pants in the plane. Carried jeans, sweater in the carryon. Changed after landing, went about Tokyo and then changed back into comfortable clothes for the flight back to US

I do this too. I have a merino wool Uniqlo midi dress, but mine is long sleeved. It keeps me warm on the plane and looks decent enough. Plus tights and booties in the winter.

Hear me out. I started wearing a midi length sleeveless dress (Arcteryx Veilance Pallister Dress) on flights. If it's cold I'll wear merino wool leggings and merino wool short or long sleeve T shirt underneath. It's nice not to have a waistband to deal with. The skirt part is wide enough to tuck my legs into when sleeping, so it's another way to stay warm.

If it's warm on disembarking then I'll remove the merino wool and just wear the dress. It works for me.

I agree this outfit is comfy (I have pretty much the exact same one and have worn it many times) but it’s quite dated/mid-2000s, which is why I’ve stopped wearing it. I know it’s just the airplane, but OP seems to be looking for something somewhat fashionable and this is not fashionable.

OP, if you want to essentially wear pajamas on the plane (as opposed to a real outfit), I’d go with a matching set over this.


I live out west and I read this forum with incredulity sometimes. This shoe is so ugly and dated. Please - don’t wear these stuffy dated things to Paris, OP.
