It depends what it is. Usually I don’t because partially eaten food can be very unappetizing.
But it's (presumably) YOUR partially eaten food. That's so strange. Like people who get grossed out having their own dirty plate sit in front of them for a whole 5 minutes whilst the rest of the party eats.
Anyways, I'm someone who loves to get 2/3 meals out of an entree, so I'm a strategic eater. Burgers are cut in half. I don't go for the "good stuff first" like a greedy piglet. Maybe that's where the problems lie? But I'm also very frugal. I suppose I would eat a different way if I firmly intended to throw half my meal away.

Yes, although usually I split an appetizer with DH. I can pretty much eat any amount of food you put in front of me as long as it's not a 12 oz steak.
I'm a normal sized, middle aged woman. (52, 5'4, around 118 pounds). I've always had a big appetite.
Curiosity question, can anyone here actually finish an appetizer, entree and dessert at a restaurant sitting now?

Anonymous wrote:I only eat 1/4. I do not "bring food home" from restaurants as that is low class behaviour.

I'm paying you good money, adding in a now 20% + tip, and food tax(es)...I'd better get something worth while before I part with my money.

A lot of food doesn’t travel very well especially appetizers, salad or desserts.
How far does it have to travel? Are you trekking the Karakoram mountains to get to the restaurant?
Living two blocks away is too far to take french fries or onion rings or even a dressed salad.

$10-14 per person? You think that is a lot and you should be getting a ton of food for it? That’s fast food pricing
How much are YOU paying? And where?

I will whine about having to box things up myself more often than not, though. It's messy, often not enough space to do easily, and should really be done in the back.
