Definitely not maga but it never made sense to me that it was NOT a lab leak. Bizarrely huge coincidence that it would have started in the town working on this virus and somehow not been connected to it.

Um, remember all the “science is real” lawn signs?

You should all be ashamed of yourselves; more so if you still have that stupid sign on your lawn.

This is now after the Biden Administration opened up extensive investigations into the lab leak theory and the New York Times ran a long piece putting together a very plausible story.

I know the immediate response will be, "How does this change anything?". Well, for starters, it greatly damages the reputation of the scientific community going forward. Remember when top publications like Science and Nature were trying to downplay the possibility of a lab leak? The entire scientific community has been outed as being entirely susceptible to dangerous group think that clearly has a political agenda injected into it. The truth and being transparent do not matter. This should also have severe consequences for China. I mean if country causes the worst manmade disaster in human history that caused millions of deaths, including 1.2M of our own citizens, and trillions of dollars in economic damage, shouldn't they face severe repercussions?

Could this possibly be because Trump installed a conspiracy crank at the CIA?

Yep right!

Biden officials determined this not Trump’s. You people sure do refuse to open your eyes to reality.

If so, why didn't Biden publish it? To let China off the hook because the Bidens had business dealings in China? Because the Bidens always go soft China in favor of keeping Russia Russia Russia on the front page? Personal relationship between Xi and Biden? Biden didn't really care that many people died because of Covid? Democrats in government quietly funding "gain-of-function" research gone bad?

You tell us.

Truly unhinged. Trump is not hard on China and he’s in bed with Russia. More Trumpers died of COVID than Dems and he didn’t care. I don’t think he acknowledged or said a kind word for a single death.

Finally, Trump had many failed businesses in China and it wasn’t until he became soft on them re Taiwan that they started buying his properties and he was able to register his business trademarks there. So, spare me your outrage.

Seriously. And Trump is the one with a Chinese back account.

I honestly don’t know why they did that, it’s baseless and they said “we have low confidence in this theory”.
Forced by trump, I guess?
But it only creates animosity and resentment.

No. These were findings of the Biden CIA and just released by the new chief after an internal release.

“The CIA issued its low confidence judgment after former CIA Director William Burns directed the agency to take a position on the origins rather than remain agnostic, according to officials familiar with the matter, though he didn’t urge a particular conclusion. The updated analysis, which wasn’t based on specific new intelligence, was published internally at the agency before Ratcliffe’s arrival, the officials said.”

Exactly. Democrats, stop covering for what Fauci did in Wuhan after President Obama ordered him to stop.

Also, why did Fauci remove the watchdog located in Wuhan specifically monitoring for emerging diseases? Evidently the U.S. government very prudently has these watchdogs situated around the world. But the watchdog in Wuhan was removed immediately before Covid escaped from the lab.

We didn’t have a watchdog in Wuhan. There was a downsizing of epidemiologists and other health professionals in Beijing, but their funding increased.

Tony Fauci must be investigated.

Biden pardoned him.

Pardons don’t prevent investigations. People can still be called to testify and lose the right to remain silent - because there is no longer a prosecution risk.

Yeah really?

Biden's trip to China with son Hunter in 2013 comes under new scrutiny

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/biden-s-trip-china-son-hunter-2013-comes-under-new-n1061051

--------------------

"I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight," Hunter Biden wrote in a WhatsApp message to Zhao, the CEO of Beijing-based asset management firm Harvest Fund Management, on July 30, 2017"

"And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction," Hunter Biden added in his messages to Zhao. "I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father."

In addition, the 2020 Senate report revealed that, beginning on Aug. 14, 2017, Hunter Biden initiated a string of 20 wire transactions from Owasco to Lion Hall Group, a consulting firm linked to President Biden's brother James Biden and his wife Sara. The transactions continued through Aug. 3, 2018, and totaled $1.4 million.

Biden pardoned him.

Fauci still can, and should be investigated. He used our millions and millions of dollars in Wuhan, China, where covid originated.

Americans are demanding the truth, even if the perpetrator never goes to prison for what he did.

The FBI, CIA, etc have no credibility. Remember how the CIA back up Israelis claims about the hospital bombings in Gaza? They are still pushing the fake laptop.

The good thing is we can shut down field operations for all these agencies and just have them issue press releases. Save a lots of money. Maybe they can just use a bot on Twitter to push out republican propaganda as official “government” statements.

Anonymous wrote:“But the origins of the virus still divides the U.S. intelligence community, in large part because the Chinese government hasn’t cooperated with international investigations.”

So there’s no new evidence and a low confidence assessment. So nothing is really new. Just a a conclusion made for maybe a political reason? Maybe by Dems to get ahead of the new administration. Maybe the R’s to blame China? At the end of all of this, what we’re left with is a coin flip for animal vs. man made cause and a bunch of dead people.

Just look ahead and better prepare for the next pandemic.

This.

There are lots of coronaviruses. There have been 4 circulating coronaviruses (common coronaviruses) for years. SARS is a coronavirus. MERS is a coronavirus. And there are even far more coronaviruses when scientists test bats and village folks near bat caves in China.

And yes there was a Wuhan lab that also experimented on coronaviruses. All are possibilities and we will likely never know. But it sure makes MAGA jump on a "low" confidence, weak evidence conclusion saying "a ha!" like it is now a one hundred percent solid fact. In the end, that last part is just sad.
