Have you ever considered that if you want food that is hot and fresh, you could (1) actually go eat at the restaurant where the food is being prepared, or (2) make your own dinner?
Or (3) hire a personal chef.
It's weird to be condescending about this idea when you're being lazy and entitled in the least sensible way.

People seem incapable or totally unwilling to put forth any effort to cook. They’d rather wait 30+ min for their takeout (between calling it in driving there, waiting, driving back) or even more time with door dash. For what? Mediocre cold food that is terrible for you? I don’t get it. Just cook. Make something easy
This is usually my go to as I don't like most takeout and love scrambled eggs and avocado toast etc. but many people younger than my millennial self didn't learn to cook quick and eat it just want to treat themselves since they think they deserve it for working hard.

This is particularly true during "Dry January" when nobody is having drinks. You can thank the cannabis industry and whatever force is behind the war on low to moderate alcohol use for the eventual demise of the restaurant industry. I predict that within 5 years we will have very few restaurants left to enjoy.
