Dont you go stir crazy sitting around for that long?
And no moving around to boot?
Do you even have an appetite given you and the kids don't do anything but sit for consecutive hours during the said movie marathon ?
Sorry you don’t have the mental focus to watch a couple of movies on a cold winter day?
I’m not the PP but agree with them.
It’s not a couple of movies if it’s all day,
We’ve been having movie evenings recently, having dinner on the couch while we watch. It’s a good way to spend a cold winter evening. But I couldn’t do it all day, and my tween couldn’t either.

Are you that incapable of enjoying some peace and quiet? There’s something pathological about needing to move around so much that you can’t imagine enjoying a couple of movies with your family.

Not PP you replied to, but when we "stay at home", we go for a long walk with the dog in our neighborhood. The kids use our indoor trampoline. I might be doing chores and cooking something elaborate. So even if we add a movie to this, we're not inactive.
