I cannot find sitter. Cat has come to other pet-friendly hotels and never been a problem.

Ever broken the rules? How did it go?

I've done this so many times I've lost count. I've gotten away with it every time, and these are at "luxury" hotels like RC, Kimptons, Hilton restorts etc. No one cared or said anything to us **shrugs**

You are entitled

WTH? Adults don’t board cats unless the cats need serious medical care. Leave the cat at home and have someone come by to feed and hang.

based on the place where I board my dogs on vacation, plenty of people board their cats for vacation

This is disgraceful behavior for so many reasons. Both you and your cat need help.

Where do you live? We can recommend a sitter.

I am someone who hires a professional company to come 2x/day when we travel, but if I really couldn’t find anyone and wanted to stay at the hotel, I’d totally refresh the litter before leaving town and leave out some extra food/water. Assuming you’re talking about going away ~48 hours. Your cat does not want to stay in a hotel, not to mention it is rude to future guests.

Also, you are a straight up liar if you say you can't find a sitter. Take some responsibility and be an adult here.

+1
I am totally cat crazy and would never.
+1 to suggestion from PP to see if teammate's sibling could help out.
