been to san francisco many times and thought it fine

did the 18 mile crosstown trail past fall

really brought out the beauty of its diverse city/land-scapes i never knew existed

+2 on Merriman’s Kapalua! Especially if you can snag a table near the window with an ocean view at sunset (like we were lucky enough to do on our last visit). Amazing.

I love Venice. It has endured for so long under such unusual circumstances. I think it is amazing to think that people came up with an idea to build a city on stilts on the water and it still exists today. I also love how quiet it is in the evenings when all of the cruise ship people are gone. I was there in November once, and it was so quiet and beautiful at night.

Basically everywhere I went in Italy blew me away.

Sailing into Kotor, Montenegro through the magical mountains—stunning.

Every quiet beach I’ve found in the Caribbean where we were the only ones around. The clear turquoise water and white sand with a lush green backdrop are the best.

The lush green rolling hills of the Cotswolds and English countryside. Bonus points when peppered with sheep.

Blarney Castle, Ireland, Paris in 1988, Hawaii, Sedona, Arizona, and Sanibel Island Florida for the most incredible sea shells.
