Do not wait for ID sessions. That's too late. Contact coaches now and ask to join practices. If they don't already know you before ID sessions it is very difficult to stand out unless your player is head and shoulders above and dominating everyone else on the field.

I’m guessing what can happen is that players on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teams of Potomac and Bethesda would try out for this mystery ECNL.
But is this even a big deal anymore since the whole MLS Next expansion?
