Not really. A friend has her first and only at 40–and that was 18 years ago and she is far from the only one I know.

Her fertility will decline significantly from 33 to 39. Your anecdote is meaningless.


This is just not true. It really does at 40 but not before. It is very incremental in 30s. Well documented yeah people keep spewing decades information as if it’s valid. It’s not.

-two kids from sex one time years apart at 34 and 37. Most people I know did not have their first kid until at least 35. All between 35 and 40 except me for the first kid.

33 is not old but wait a year and then go for it if you want kids. Fertility and age are related like it or not and being a parent is physical work those early years!
