So…you’re pretty average for the DC area. Congrats, I guess?

Congrats to yourself on having a well-below average level of politeness.

Congrats, OP!

I'm in a similar situation -- no handouts, no inheritance, etc. Paid my own way through school. I understand what a big accomplishment this is!

Anonymous wrote:Congrats OP! We just got close to 1.6M And I felt the same. Though I did get $100k from parents at one point during college so obviously that was a huge leg up and I don't take that for granted. We had saved for a down payment already so didn't use it for that but it helped with renovations. Anyway just being transparent (on this anonymous board...lol). I hear it really compounds from here.

We had our first million at 38 and 40. Six more years to the second million, four more to the third million. Compounding interest and increased value of our primary residence.

It’s an anonymous board. Why won’t you say your age?

What is your retirement goal?

OP here. I am 19 years old.

You only have to split it with spouse if you divorce, PP. keep your energy in a more bitter thread.

My 10-year old has $300k in investments. How does a 10-year old get so much money? Just say, 'congratulations'.

2005 Honda Accord
25 min or so
No match. Just one car.
Same way return

So many questions PP

Np. I think he’s talking about investment vehicle and return on investment. Lol

Congrats, OP. I remember the feeling when my 401(k) crossed $1m. The first $1m is the hardest!
