Some entertainers & politicians seem to be kept aloft because lots of the cool people praise them, & many others are hesitant to contradict them out of fear of appearing uncool.
When a famous singer can’t sing very well[i], a famous comedian isn’t funny, or a politician keeps getting elected despite never improving anything, some people are likely to put them in this category.

Started off bit rusty - the movie took 5 years to make - but by the second half it was way more convincing …
It didn’t take 5years to make. The movie was supposed to be shot in 2020 but was instead shot this year.
Timothy said in an interview that he worked on the movie for five years as it was shut
down during the pandemic,
I was referring to another interview but he said something f similar in this interview

CHALAMET: ...Turned into a five-year process where I feel I've almost turned over every stone available to me now. CHANG: I mean, just so people understand, you had to learn how to sing like Dylan, talk like Dylan, play guitar like Dylan, play harmonica like him, walk and move like
Yes, Chalamet worked on it for 5 years, but it was all shot this year, so the idea that his voice is rusty in the beginning of the movie because it took 5 years to make isn’t right.

Do they like other singers from that era or nothing from the 60s? BD evolved a lot as a musician so part of his relevancy is longevity, which may become more apparent to your teens as they mature in our rapidly changing world .
Many young people now prefer listening to vinyl recordings and it is easy to buy vinyl record players as younger music lovers discovered how clean the sound is.
