I had Scarlett fever in 4th grade in the 1970s. My mom made a big deal about it. That show frightened me.
And the blonde girl with the pigtails was so mean.

I'm a Gen-x'er who loved this show and I remember being so shocked to learn that the actresses that played Laura and Nellie Olsen were and are close friends in real life!
