SC business and SC honors college are both harder to get into than Clemson
Clemson has an honors college too
Is it ranked? SC is #1

We will visit. I hear Clemson is beautiful and on a lake but middle of nowhere. UTK is cute but not beautiful but nice facilities and cute little town and villages next to it.
DD less excited about SC
Ultimate goal is UGA probably (deferred) so need to visit these in the meantime.
Has other options too (and some higher ranked) but wanted to check these as we like the warm/southern/friendly vibe.
Hillbilly menage trois?

Tennessee caught a tough draw having to travel to Ohio State for the first round, but the cold weather won't have the impact some are saying it will. (Do people not realize how cold it gets in Knoxville?)
South Carolina was the "hottest team in the country" at the end of the season and got robbed of the last playoff spot. Just ask them, they'll tell you.
+1 South Carolina beat Clemson in football and basketball this year. Great school spirit in Columbia.
Clemson leads they series 77-44-4 South Carolina will always be the little brother.

Anonymous wrote:You are correct that Clemson is in the middle of nowhere and outside of the school there really is nothing to do nearby. Yes, it's 50 min from Greenville but there's basically nothing there either. If your kid really wants to go there have them spend some extended time there to see if being that isolated is something they're ok with.
-kid transferred out of Clemson due to how isolated it is

If she didn’t get into UGA, she’s not getting into W&M.
UGA is really competitive. Not sure what you're talking about. Esp OOS.
