I just bought one with their shipping dealio code (can't use it in-store). I hope it is not misdelivered.

Slightly off-topic but ugh! Our organization holiday party insisted on store-bought or restaurant-catered items for our “potluck.” You weren’t even allowed to buy things - like cheese, fruit or veggies - and put them on a tray. The signups have been slow to trickle in and border on the gross. I miss our true potluck from pre-COVID, as many of my coworkers come from around the country and world and often brought unique dishes that added to my understanding of them and their roots.

I politely passed and volunteered to cover our team’s phones and emails for the time period.

If you are in a time crunch but want something fancy, the ghiradelli chocolate double fudge brownies are incredible. Just cut into small squares and pipe buttercream and little crystalized sugar holiday decorations or add holiday M+Ms.

Whole Foods lacey cookies from the cookie bar are my favorite.

The TJ Jo Jo’s for the holidays that are dipped in things are good.

From Costco, the Kirkland brie, the Spanish tapas set, the Italian mini cream puffs, the juniors cheesecake bites, and the Portuguese custard tarts.

Agree on those wrgman chocolate chip cookies.

Balducci’s bakery is gross except for the rainbow amaretti cookies.

The Italian imported salami, capaciolla, and prosciutto at Safeway is surprisingly good.
